Millville Police Department
CHIEF OF POLICE
Message From The Chief:
Welcome to the Millville Police Department WEB page. The men and women of the Millville Police Department are honored to have the opportunity to serve the citizens of Millville and host this interactive web page. The department having had a history of serving the Millville Community for over 144 years, we strive for excellence in meeting the needs of our residents and visitors alike by creating a safe and friendly community.
The Millville Police Department is made up of a unique and diverse workforce consisting of over 100 employees. With an authorized sworn strength of 74 full time officers, the MPD responds to over 40,000 calls for service on a yearly basis. We are proud of the way in which we interact with the community in our continuing collaborative problem solving efforts. In a concerted effort to be transparent with the community, we strive for excellence in providing all of the requirements necessary from a full service modern police department. We listen to our community and we respond. We rely on the public to assist us in understanding the needs and expectations that they require. We ensure that we remain in contact with the public in achieving our primary goal of providing a community where our citizens are safe from crime.
I grew up with a law enforcement back ground. With my father being a police officer he instilled me with the proper knowledge that allows me to serve my community with great respect and help solve the problems that may arise in my city. After a strong military background I started my career in the police department as a patrolman and worked my way up to supervisory positions starting with the rank of Sergeant, then Lieutenant, Captain, and now Chief.
Please explore the many facets of the Millville Police Department WEB page and please feel free to contact either my office or any of the members of my executive team with your comments, concerns and/or suggestions. By working together we can ensure not only a safe community, but also a responsive and proficient police department both today and in the future.
