Mobile Incident Command
The Millville Police Department has a Mobile Command Center. This vehicle allows the department to set up a mobile command any where that an emergency up rises.
This 2006 Freightliner M2/2 Door -250 22-foot Tactical Command vehicle is a beauty.
Weighing in a 35,000 LBS "IM9" has a 300 horsepower Cummins ISC Turbo Diesel Engine. The 22 foot body holds a large 50 Gallon fuel tank that powers the rather large generator.
The top of the vehicle houses a telescopic camera system.
Located inside the rear of the vehicle are several LCD monitors that allow officers to see thousands of feet in a 360 degree area.
|This vehicle has several very important features including several portable radios for major incidents along with a fax machine and a bathroom in case of emergencies. This vehicle is air-conditioned and heated in inclement weather.|
Towards the inside front of the truck is a seating area with all of the cities communications radios and a digital screen with a bird's eye view from the in board camera system.
The inside rear of the vehicle also has a seating area
This vehicle is housed in the city and ready for any major incident within the area.
